Strings is a family business offering personal service. We stock an extensive
range of fine violins, violas, cellos, and bows, and are also interested in
buying quality instruments and bows. We offer a complete restoration and renovation service, and undertake both minor and major repairs. Our special interest is sound adjustment. If you feel your violin, viola or cello is not performing to its full potential, we can help you. We are centrally placed near Chester, close to motorway access from Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham. Trains from London Euston run direct to Chester in just over two hours. We are also easily reached from both Liverpool and Manchester airports. We are open seven days a week by appointment, and offer evening appointments if you prefer.
